The LiuGong 6608E is a single-drum vibratory roller designed for soil, gravel and general earthwork compaction. At 7,500 kg operating mass, it sits nicely between the smaller tandem rollers and the larger soil compactors in the LiuGong range.

Its 1,680 mm vibrating drum produces 122/92 kN of centrifugal force, with two vibration frequencies and amplitude settings allowing the machine to adapt its compaction performance to different ground conditions. The drum carries 3,750 kg of the machine's mass, with another 3,750 kg over the drive axle.

Hydraulic articulated steering and hydrostatic drive give the 6608E straightforward control around the jobsite, while 60% theoretical gradeability gives it useful capability across uneven earthworks and sloping terrain. The machine also offers a working speed range of 0–10 km/h.
