The LiuGong DR50C is built around one job — moving large volumes of material efficiently across demanding mining and quarry sites. It carries a 45,000 kg payload, with a net machine weight of 36,800 kg and maximum gross machine weight of 81,800 kg.

Its dump body provides 21.8 m³ struck capacity and 29.8 m³ heaped capacity, backed by a hydraulic hoist system capable of raising the body in 12 seconds and lowering it in 9 seconds.

Power is delivered through an Allison 4800 transmission with seven forward ratios and a maximum travel speed of 55 km/h. With a full load, 66% of the weight is carried over the rear axle, while 220 mm of suspension travel front and rear helps the truck handle demanding haul roads and working conditions.
